Purpose of the role: Responsible for handling all accounting and audit work related to Private Equity and thorough knowledge of SEBI licensce like AIF, VCF, PMS, IA and realed accounting. Should have complete understanding of end to end PE transaction (Agnostic & Real Estate Fund) from accounting and taxation perspective - Fund Accounting & Audit including Expense allocation TDS of PE & RE funds - Audit for PE & RE funds - Monthly closing of accounts (including the updation in Tally, provisioning entries) - Monthly reconciliation with third party vendor- Preparation of Cash Flow and Fund Flow for PE & RE Funds - Follow up till resolution of tax issues with Tax Authorities & concerned Tax Consultants - Treasury Management - No idle funds lying in Fund books - Timely filling of Income Tax, Service Tax, TDS returns as per the due dates- - Timely Distribution and database management for distribution out of sale proceeds- - Valuations for PE & RE funds _ Valuation exercise done from valuer and timely closure of the valuation exercise- Managing distributors and vendor payout for old and forthcoming fund as per agreement- - Client communications should be as per TAT - Ensure operational data availability for regulatory and process compliance & documentation for PE & RE Funds for periodic filing with SEBI - Managing books of accounts of MOPE & MORE books, coordination for Trusteeship & statutory audits of all entities Looking into accounting aspects of MOPE & MORE books of account Customer Query Resolution - PE funds and also for Structured Debt - Handling Investor Queries relating to Return of Capital, Interest Income, Project Updates etc. - Follow up on pending drawdown with defaulting investors - Quarterly communication of income & expenses/Advance tax in time - Coordination with third party for ensuring delivarables as and when any commuication goes to client with in 7 days Communication to Distributors including statement of accounts for Existing & proposed Fund Experience :- 5-6 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity funds preferred Education: Chartered Accountants (1st attempt pass outs preferred); CA Inters need not apply
