Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our private equity firm as a Performance Improvement Consultant. In this role, professional will work closely with portfolio companies to identify, implement, and drive initiatives that enhance their EBITDA performance through focus on growth, costs and efficiencies.


Responsibilities :

1. Conducts thorough operational analyses of the portfolio company to identify areas of inefficiency, process bottlenecks, and potential cost savings. The objective would be to assess the company's current operations and financial performance to create a roadmap for improvement.

2. Process Optimization: Streamlining and optimizing business processes is a crucial aspect of the role. The consultant identifies areas where processes can be improved or standardized to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

3. Revenue Growth Strategies: In addition to cost reduction, the consultant may focus on revenue growth strategies. This involves analysing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and helping the company expand its market presence. It also involves on ground assessment of sales infrastructure, process, people and customer views to arrive at right initiatives.

4. Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data analysis and business intelligence tools to make data-driven decisions and uncover valuable insights for process improvement and revenue enhancement.

5. Change Management: Implementing operational improvements often requires changes in organizational structure and processes. The Operating Consultant supports the portfolio company's management in effectively managing and communicating these changes to the employees.

6. Supply Chain Optimization: Identify supply chain inefficiencies, optimize inventory management, streamline logistics, and enhance supplier relationships to improve operational effectiveness and reduce costs.

7. Performance Monitoring: Establish robust performance tracking mechanisms to monitor the impact and effectiveness of performance improvement initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Mastor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

2. Prior experience of 3-5 years in management consulting in areas of revenue enhancement, growth strategy development, sales and marketing excellence, supply chain optimization, and cost optimization.

3. Strong project management skills, including project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of utilizing data to drive performance improvements.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including portfolio company management teams.

6. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, process optimization methodologies, and project management tools is highly desirable.

7. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving tangible outcomes and maximizing value creation for portfolio companies.
