Job Description: Equity research Analyst (Buy Side)
Mosaic provides Equity research services to its clients which includes a long only FII fund based in Asia.
- You will be working very closely with a Senior Partner of the FII fund doing detailed research and analysis on a wide range of companies in Asia, mainly for China/HK listed companies. You will work as a team with a Senior Partner and your role will be a vital one: to ensure that we have accurate and relevant data, models and correct facts to make investment decisions.
- In addition to strong numerical ability, commercial judgment and curiosity we are looking for a candidate who is highly logical and motivated to learn, has a passion for investing, a very strong work ethic and a hunger to succeed.
- This is a unique opportunity for a bright individual with about 2-3 years relevant experience to rapidly develop and hone their skills as an investor working closely with an extremely seasoned and successful team.
Role Description :
The key deliverable is to create and maintain in- depth, timely and high quality research on companies within our universe listed in China/HK.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models in a dynamic and speedy manner
- Monitor and track performance of companies under your coverage and compare to Indian and global peers
- Site visits and company visits
Skills :
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Self-starter and proactive
- Highly motivated, logical thinker, fast learner, detail oriented and able to work under pressure
- Excellent English communication, presentation and interpersonal skill
Requirements:
- CA and/or CFA with strong accounting and numeric skills
- 2-3 years of professional investment or relevant industry experience
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
