Moodys Analytics - Delivery Lead - Financial Research

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in research for leading investment banks, consulting companies and funds globally

2. Manage a team of senior researchers, guide and mentor them through the research process ensuring quality and keeping the team motivated, giving them feedback

3. Projects include quantitative and qualitative research for companies, industries and sectors

4. Requires the ability to extract and condense relevant information for financial research from multiple market data sources

5. Manage workflow and interact directly with the client

6. Requires the ability to work effectively in team with a mix of long and short term deadlines with flexible working hours

Required Background

1. 5 yrs+ relevant work experience in the same field providing financial research support

2. Candidates should have experience of managing small teams independently and also be able to guide juniors

3. Candidates with hands-on experience of using different third party data source like Bloomberg, Factiva, Merger Market, Prequin etc. will be preferred

4. Ability to evaluate information for reliability and usefulness, and extract information from a source appropriately

5. Ability to organize information from multiple sources and present it in an easily understandable manner, synthesize the information/data to answer the ask

6. Strong project management, multi-tasking skills and ability to work against tight deadlines

7. Excellent academic results from leading schools, proficient in written and verbal English

8. Good understanding of different terminologies, multiples and ratios used in the financial research domain

9. Strong problem-solving skills, a self-starter, highly motivated, ambitious, and willingness to work hard
