Moodys Analytics - Associate - Quantitative Modelling

The candidate will work with PE/VC and Consulting firms and will be responsible for end-to-end management of the projects.

- The candidate should have experience of working on Trading & Transaction comps, Operational & Financial Benchmarking, Company Profiles, Case Studies and Industry studies / analysis.

- The candidate will get an opportunity to interact with the client and would be expected to start finalizing projects at the earliest.

Responsibilities :

- Supporting clients on multiple industries with in-depth analysis of Trading and Transaction comps, financial benchmarking and short to detailed company profiles.

- Creation of projects including critical industry or market analysis, company reports, ad-hoc requests, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in depth secondary research.

- Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure - high client satisfaction-

- Demonstrate strength and flair in client / requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment

Required Background :

Requires delivering projects, including:

- Trading / Transaction Comps (in-depth analysis from Company filings with industry specific adjustments including one-time /non-recurring items)

- Financial / Operational Benchmarking

- Company Profiles (Short, Detailed etc.) using secondary sources only

- M&A's / Company shortlisting using secondary sources and Google search

- M&A Case Studies

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Post-Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification

- Proficiency on universal resources such as Thomson, Orbis, Capital IQ (a must), FactSet, Factiva, Bloomberg, Merger market, SNL and various other market data sources
