Monotype - Scrum Master

Overview of the position. This person will,

- Help both new and seasoned teams execute successfully using the appropriate project management methodology which includes Agile processes like Scrum, Kanban, Lean or XP principles, any hybrids of these approaches and traditional methods of Project Management.

- Be involved in multiple projects throughout the company and should be flexible enough to do this successfully. He should be able to identify risks, remove impediments and understand and moderate teams to facilitate them being autonomous.

You will have an opportunity to,:

- Be an Agile advocate for the company

- Train and manage multiple parallel teams on use of agile methodologies

- FACILITATE and MODERATE all Scrum ceremonies - Planning, Daily, Demo and Retrospectives

- IDENTIFY and remove impediments to enable teams to deliver quality products and work with Managers to remove barriers that prevent autonomous teams

- DETERMINE product requirements and attain required project resources

- CONTRIBUTE to and follow the established PMO frameworks and methodologies

- COLLABORATE with product owner and architects to ensure alignment on strategy and execution

- FACILITATE interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture and UX

Skill Sets required:

- 7-12yrs of total experience in IT Industry, preferably background of IT Product development.

- 3+ years of related project management experience with Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Agile background

- Thrive in an environment of constantly changing projects with tight deadlines

- Experience within iterative and adaptive software environment

- Ability to analyze high-level requirements and break down into work items to be scoped

- Strong problem-solving skills and Exceptional communication skills

- Passion for high-quality and client satisfaction

- Expert at Agile process tools like JIRA
