We're looking for a Team Lead- Business development Research to build, consolidate and leverage consumer insights for MongoDB. This role will be tasked with continuously raising the bar and ensuring high-quality research outputs that are critical components in decision making. This will require working extensively with the stakeholders in the US and EMEA/APAC regions for defining and executing research studies, ensuring timely delivery and dissemination of research outputs and building a partner ecosystem to support these research initiatives. This position will champion the understanding of consumer and category dynamics to drive marketing strategy.

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM (cabs will be provided)

Work Location: Gurgaon

Job responsibilities

- Manage and guiding the team to deliver strategically relevant output and completion of ongoing projects within agreed upon timelines

- Conduct sanity checks and give relevant feedback

- Independently manage projects and provide expert support to the team by leveraging past research experience

- Managing the team processes and leading the operations and quality initiatives for the complete knowledge center

- Conduct a thorough secondary research on different companies, sectors, and industries to create specific reports and marketing collaterals

- Provide pre-sales support to maximize revenues of the end customers and acquire new customers by unique value prop

- Work on process-driven research assignments such as company profiling, company Analytical snapshots, quarterly briefing books, competitive intelligence, industry briefings, thought leadership & eminence research, newsletters, press search, executive profiling etc.

- Conduct exhaustive secondary research across proprietary databases such as Rocket Reach, Relationship Science,

- DiscoverOrg, DataNyze, Rainking, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc. and presenting outputs in Google slides/Google Docs

- Collaborate with team members on multiple research projects at any given point of time

- Coach the team members and help them succeed in their careers which is in alignment to the Group/Firm goals

Preferred Skills :

- Aptitude for business research/consulting

- Exposure to Chinese market is a big plus

- Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/ideas

- Ability to structure and write high-quality reports

- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

- Positive attitude and ability to work across teams within tight deadlines
