Moneyboxx Finance Limited is a NBFC democratising access to capital to the undeserved micro entrepreneurs in Tier 3 and beyond cities of the country. In short span of two years, we have changed lives of more than 7000 lives and aim to impact 1 million lives in next 5 years.

We are on the lookout for AVP/VP - Engineering who can work with dynamic team setups and solve intriguing problems, someone who can bring a fresh mind with new ideas and perspectives and have a sense of ownership. He/she should be willing to get their hands dirty and love a challenge.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Orchestrate the design, development and delivery with high quality, performance, and scale.

2. Develop roadmaps for system and product growth, and then ensure timely execution and delivery.

3. Have high technical competence, strong technical background with a proven technical track record.

4. A strong collaborative mindset to work closely with your peers in various teams like Product Management, Design, Quality Assurance and more to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together.

5. Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes.

6. Define a long-term talent strategy across technologies. Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for associates and managers who report into you

7. A zeal for solving customer problems, and the cascading the same passion within your team.

8. Drive for innovation and improvement - encouraging and enabling your team to improve their tools, processes, and culture; keeping them agile and creative

9. Be responsible for mentoring and developing front line managers and engineers.

Required Skills:

1. Deep understanding of Opensource technologies (Javascript, Node,JS, React, PHP) and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.

2. Hands-on experience in developing, designing & scaling complex systems

3. Start-up experience to scale the organization and influence engineers.

4. Strong sense of ownership and accountability

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

6. Understanding of business processes and the application of technology to implement them

7. prioritization, planning of projects and features; stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.

8. Be a champion of engineering excellence: establish team metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence. Implement a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement.

9. Show strong business and technical judgment that will accelerate time to market of releases, while incrementally moving our services towards the long-term vision.
