Basic Purpose of Position : The Senior Finance Analyst, CoE Cash flow Planning and Financial Controlling role is responsible for coordinating, assisting and leading the assigned geographies / business units: - Planning (Strategic Plan, Annual Contract, Forecasts) of the Free Cash Flow (FCF) across AMEA. - Partnering with the BU AER leads / Procurement Finance / Region Procurement / Region ISC / Corporate and Region FP&A / Global OTC team for planning & forecasting exercise and to understand the key drivers for variance to AC and MF/SF and perform detailed analysis of cash flow. - Advising the Manager, COE of Cash flow Planning and Financial Controlling of risks and opportunities in key drivers of cash flow for assigned geographies. Supporting the Finance Controllers of assigned geographies in developing cash flow improvement plans to mitigate risks - Deep dive on Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) bridges, identifying and explaining to stakeholders- key variance drivers for DSO and DPO - To ensure timely and correct closing of books consistent US GAAP financial-accounting, while ensuring that financial-reporting policies are understood and complied with consistently. - Ensuring accurate and insightful commentary of accounts (below OI, cash flow and BS) to region and corporate controlling teams - Continuous liaising with FC's or Manager- controlling of assigned geographies for identifying issues and providing feedback for continuous improvement in reporting processes and driving working capital improvement. - Servicing ad-hoc business requests relating to cash flow and balance sheet queries Specifications : Knowledge : - Robust knowledge of US GAAP (compulsory) Technical / Work-based Skills : - Strong business data-analysis skills - Strong Financial Accounting Skills - Strong technical and working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion and FIT systems General Skills / Attributes : Leadership Competencies: - Strong business Acumen - Organizational Agility - Comfort around higher Management - Communication and Presentation skills - Dealing with Ambiguity - Integrity and Trust Qualifications : - Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA - Hyperion-systems certification (preferred but not compulsory)
