Role Objective: The role requires rigorous management of warehouse operations pertaining to order processing and driving proactive engagement with the 3PL service providers & different teams of Moglix to maximize customer experience and drive positive customer NPS.

A. Shipping Operations :

- Map out the Shipping strategy and execute on the delivery plan for the business

- Oversee the Shipping and Logistics team, and to provide mentorship, identify gaps and plan the team's development

- Set direction and target on Warehousing and Logistics operations to ensure the execution of logistics supports in efficient manner

- Provide Shipping, Warehousing & Logistics Management supports to internal business divisions

- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement and new initiatives that optimize service, inventory turns, and operational costs for the Company

- Track and report operations volume (and productivity), customer service level and all aspects of shipping and logistics cost

- Source and set-up of new warehousing & operations facilities in South Region

- Ensure smooth transportation and operational planning of all shipment

- Manage subcontractors, including 3PL, transporter, etc.

- Continuous improvements on Shipping, Warehousing and Logistics processes and operations

B. Logistics Operations:

- Lead the Order fulfillment operations pan-India

- Drive Transportation & Warehousing vendor development to streamline item movements

- Lead planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries & pickups from suppliers.

- Co-ordinate with multiple teams like Sales team, Vendor development team, catalogue team etc. to streamline the fulfillment activities

- Drive Return Order management & resolve escalation within stipulated SLAs.

- Develop combination of warehouses, long haul trucks and milk run system to fulfill online orders with improved TAT & reduced cost

- Ensure all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations

- Book sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver services within agreed terms.

- Work with Warehouse team to improve customer TAT & experience

- Confronting climate change issues by implementing transport strategies and monitoring an organization's carbon footprint

- Develop combination of own fleet and 3PL, to serve all types of transportations services

- Lead resolution on customer complains in Supply chain.

C. Inventory Management:

- Optimize warehouse cost, inventory level and accuracy - minimize excess & obsolete inventory, maximize service levels in conjunction with inventory goals, through planning & deployment of resources.

- Maintenance of records and documents for all transaction & inventory-related activities

- Conduct regular stock counts and audits, including inventory reconciliation, to ensure inventory integrity.

- Build strategy and scale the - Vendor Managed Inventory- through analytical modeling

Experience Required: 

- Minimum 5 years of experience in E-commerce/ 3PL/ Transportation/ Courier companies

- Knowledge in handling Ecommerce logistics & Warehouse operations etc.

Knowledge Skills: 

- Knowledge of 3PL contracts, Route/ Network planning.

- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and active listening and group facilitation.

- Strong project management skills and freight negotiation

- Attention to detail and analytical skills.

Education: 

- Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college

- Post-Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college
