Role Objective
The role requires a detail-oriented, thorough and organized sales profession to head the team managing resellers and traders and working on acquiring new customers through call calling methods, and in the process provide excellent customer service while driving revenue growth for the business unit.
Role Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls
- Monitor, classify and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
- Organize and coordinate sales representatives- schedules
- Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs and important business metrics against given targets
- Maintain a comprehensive customer cohort dashboard and manage high quality CRM
- Supervise sales representatives and assistants and work closely with them while closing sales
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Key Stakeholders
Internal:
- Inside Sales/KAM Teams: Plan acquisition of potential customers for the functions
- Category/ Business Development Teams: Plan proactive sourcing of products as per market/customer requirements
External
Vendors: Manage vendors for quick business resolutions
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales/ Tele Sales
- Knowledge and experience in new customer acquisition through cold calling
- Experience in creating customer database by datamining the internet or physical sources
Knowledge/ Skills
- Knowledge of training and developing the team in sales techniques and operations
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and active listening and group facilitation
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
Education
- Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college
- Post-Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college
