Role Objective :
The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to overall Finance & Accounting function, leading the financial controllership (consolidation & closure) responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities :
1. Financial Accounting & Management :
- Statutory & Tax audits
- AP, AR & GL
- Banking Reconciliation & Treasury Management
- Inventory Management
- Working Capital Management
- Financial Due Diligence
2. Taxation :
- Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting
- GST Compliance & Reporting across various cities
- Tax Planning
3. Book Closure :
- Monthly, Quarterly closing of Books
- AP & AR analysis
- Variance analysis
4. Financial Automation :
- Lead automation across Finance operations
- Automation of reports
5. Internal Stakeholder Management for Current Enterprise Business
6. Developing and enabling new businesses
7. Credit Risk assessment
Key Stakeholders :
Internal :
- CEO & VP- Finance to discuss any issues / conflicts with internal or external stakeholders
- Business Heads to discuss work-related issues, plans with all internal stakeholders
External :
- Buyer/ Client/ Suppliers/ Vendors/ Banks to work seamlessly with external stakeholders
Qualification & Experience :
- 12+ years of experience in leading finance teams in either large corporates or Big 4s. Should have handled Financial Controllership role
- Chartered Accountant (Pref. 1st attempt)
Knowledge/ Skills :
- Good communication & people management skills
- High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
