Team/Function: Strategy & Operations | Mergers & Acquisitions

Designation: Director - Mergers & Acquisitions

Role Objective:

- Working closely with business heads in implementing inorganic and organic growth initiatives.

- The role requires conducting through an industry mapping exercise, research on demand & supply-side dynamics, competitive landscapes, key trends etc. on sectors of interest to influence Moglix's M&A strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Managing the entire deal lifecycle including - Sourcing, evaluating, and helping execute potential strategic M&A / investment opportunities

2. Deal sourcing via extensive research, leveraging various public tools, databases, and market intelligence platforms

3. Proactively reaching out to target companies and building relationship

4. Collateral preparation including financial model, valuation analysis, competition benchmarking, information memorandums, IC note etc.

5. Perform deep analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources

6. Work cross-functionally with (Product, Engg, Business, Finance, Customer success, SCM etc.) to support diligence activities.

7. Work with external consultants (diligence agencies, lawyers etc.)

8. Support in integration of acquired companies with company ecosystem

Work Experience: 5+ years of Front end Transaction advisory /investment banking / investment experience with experience of working on end-to-end M&A/PE transaction lifecycle

Knowledge/ Skills:

1. Superior research skills and resourcefulness to draw logical conclusions with often limited/ imperfect information

2. Excellent communication & people management skills

3. Excellent data analytical skills

Education: MBA from a premier (Tier -1) institute / CA
