Job Title: Deputy Manager- Warehouse & Logistics

Job Location: Pune

Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of warehouse + Logistics

Reports to: Director- Enterprise

Job Description for Logistics function-

The role is to manage the entire supply chain and logistics function at Moglix. Looking after all the aspects of order fulfillment - first mile (vendor pickups), QC, sorting and the last mile local delivery operations through courier partners and our own fleet of bikers. The candidate would act as an individual contributor initially and shall be managing a team after few months along with a fleet of runners and packers to manage the logistics and warehouse operations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Set up distribution network and warehouse/fulfillment centers

- Manage the end-to-end forward as well as reverse supply chain

- Manage local first mile pick up from supplier markets (mainly south Bombay area) followed by QC and packaging at Moglix- warehouse and then delivery to customer

- Tight control on all compliance related aspects including PODs, runner's ethics etc

- Cost optimization in supply chain including warehousing, freight, packing, insurance etc

- Setting up SOPs for order management system customized to B2B e-commerce - ensuring smooth flow of information, material, and finances

- Managing warehouse - Ensure high-Quality check standards at Warehouse

- Assist vendor management/sales team to incorporate supply chain costs into their pricing model

- Manage several Logistics partners + own fleet of bikers/vans

- Ensure adherence to the promised TAT in order processing from the first mile to last mile

- Regular MIS reporting with tight control on all SLAs

Desired candidate background :

- Min 3 years of Logistics experience - in logistics, FMCG, startup or e-commerce companies

- Tier I or Tier II B.tech/MBA with specialization in Operations

- Extremely hardworking and readiness to get the hands dirty for best customer experience

- Sound knowledge of all logistics functions - warehousing, surface couriers, transporters etc

- Experience of training and managing a team

- Ability to drive stringent SLAs in a fast-paced environment with minimal support

Salary offered: 8 - 10 LPA
