Role Details Team/Function : Strategy & Operations | Mergers & Acquisitions Location: Mumbai Role Objective Working closely with business heads and M&A lead in implementing inorganic and organic growth initiatives. The role requires conducting through industry mapping exercise, research on demand & supply side dynamics, competitive landscapes, key trends etc. on sectors of interest to influence Moglix's M&A strategy. Role Responsibilities 1. Source, identify, evaluate, and help execute potential strategic M&A opportunities 2. Support deal sourcing via extensive research, leveraging various public tools, databases, and market intelligence platforms. 3. Proactively reaching out to target companies and qualify investment / acquisition opportunities 4. Perform deep analysis of companies based on company information, research reports, and other information sources 5. Collateral preparation including financial model, valuation analysis, competition benchmarking, information memorandums, IC note etc. 6. Work cross-functionally with (Product, Engg, Business, Finance, Customer success, SCM etc.) to support diligence activities. 7. Support in integration of acquired companies with company ecosystem Key Stakeholders Internal : CEO & other leaders - Driving key strategic initiatives - All functional heads - Coordinate for smart decision making External : Key customers, Investors & other stakeholders - Managing critical relationships Qualification & Experience : Work Experience - 1-3 years of post-MBA work experience in Front end Transaction advisory /investment banking - Work experience in Consulting or fast-paced start ups will be a plus. Knowledge/ Skills 1. Superior research skills and resourcefulness to draw logical conclusions with often limited/ imperfect Information 2. Experience in performing market sizing and scanning, benchmarking, company profiles, sector research 3. Knowledge of available databases across the industries and experience of working on these databases Essential 4. Excellent communication & people management skills 5. Excellent data analytical skills Education CA or MBA from a premier (Tier -1) institute
