Role Objective
The incumbent would be responsible for developing & managing channel sales for all products in the assigned category. The role involves strong understanding of strategic sales tactics and extensive usage of data analytics across categories.
This role demands the candidate to be a go-getter who has a knack for problem-solving and hands on approach, someone who can consistently ensure upward growth in product NPS.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques.
- Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory.
- Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue.
- Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals.
- Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
- Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements.
- Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered.
- Address partner related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business.
- Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
- Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners.
- Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities.
- Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences.

- Product Team, Marketing Team, Supply Chain Ops team - Ensuring end to end fulfillment for all orders
- Finance, Technology & HR - For managing various stakeholders, namely vendors, customers and team members
External
- Clients and Customers - Hunting, Farming & Account Management

Qualification & Experience
Work Experience
- 3+ years of work experience in sales/ channel sales preferably in electrical products organization
- Sound understanding of Strategic Channel Sales tactics.
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent Sales/Business development skills - Essential
- Startup experience would be an added advantage - Essential
- High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch - Essential
Education
- B. Tech. from Tier- 1/1.5 institute
- MBA from tier- 1/1.5 institute
