Role Objective-
Moglix, an Asia-based E-commerce company intensively inclined towards B2B procurement of industrial supplies, is expanding its footprints in offline space through launch of retail stores.
Setup physical stores that are integrated with the online channel (that is already in place) enhancing the efficiency and scalability through omnichannel transformation by intelligent use of data.
Contribute to the retail expansion process and set-up plans at the strategic and operational levels.
Provide buyers (or potential buyers) with a seamless experience, whether they're buying online from a desktop or mobile device or in a brick-and-mortar store.
Role Responsibilities-
1. Carryout feasibility study including market, location, and geographical landscape for the opening of the new retail stores.
2. Involve in the strategic management and decision-making process after the detailed market analysis for the business expansion.
3. Negotiate and finalize business deals including lease agreements at the most beneficial commercial terms.
4. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandise activities, determining additional sales promotion, authorization stock clearance, and studying trends within the allocated budget.
5. Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotions, display plans, analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
6. Liaise with various teams including supply chain, customer success and finance to ensure range and stock levels are consistent with business requirements.
7. Formulate & implement a distribution model with increased focus on cost optimization and efficiency.
8. Undertake store evaluation process by analyzing new retail locations and recommending viable options according to the distribution strategy.
9. Increase sales to maximize profitability while reducing costs through well managed operational controls.

Qualification & Experience
Work Experience-
- 8+ years of work experience in similar profile
Knowledge/ Skills-
1. Core expertise in offline retail (ideally in an early growth story phase of the organization)
2. High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch, high emotional intelligence
3. Strong sense of personal ownership and bias for action.
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Strong People management skills
6. Strong business acumen with good understanding of overall finance & operations
Education:
Postgraduate / MBA from a reputed institute
