- Own the marketing (online and offline) strategy. Manage branding, advertising, promotions, & communication activities ensuring maximum brand visibility
- New product development, innovation in existing products
- Partner with all business functions, especially sales to develop strategy and tactical implementation of marketing initiatives
- Researching consumer markets, monitoring marketing trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest based upon consumer needs and spending habits.
- Liaising with PR, Digital, IR agencies
- Coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, color, fonts and imagery.
- Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring designing and messages meet the company brand regulatory guidelines.
- Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research.
- Competition tracking and benchmarking
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have up to 2-4 years- experience of Brand/communication management in FMCG/ white Goods/ services. Candidates looking to shift from advertising agencies to marketing will also be considered. The candidate would be required to travel.
Essential Qualification:
- MBA from a premier institute
- 2-4 years of experience in Brand/Communication Management
- Candidate must have some experience in innovation and new product development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; Highly-organized, a self-starter, resilient and able to perform under pressure.
- Track record of delivery, goal oriented along with ability to set clear priorities and meets deadlines.
- Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
- Must have a passion for being a brand person and a desire to stay ahead of the curve in various platforms, trends, and evolutions.
