- Manager of Fraud detection &amp; Analytics is responsible for devising the set of rules &amp; policies to prevent frauds and using statistical techniques to identify fraud patterns and fine-tune risk rules to minimize fraud ratios. - Interpret large amounts of complex data to formulate the problem statement, concise conclusions regarding underlying risk dynamics, trends, and opportunities - Manage, develop, communicate, and implement optimal fraud strategies (including rules, cutoffs, policies, operational flows, etc.) to protect the bank from fraud-related losses and improve the customer experience at Point of Sale - Identify key risk indicators and metrics, develop key metrics, enhance reporting, and identify new areas of analytic focus to better capture fraud. - Monitor, evaluate, investigate, and respond to disputes received by various clients. - Efficiently research and present evidence to validate transactions. - Maintain strict adherence to chargeback rules and regulations. - Provide a high standard of professional/caring/friendly service while maintaining or exceeding the established standards for chargeback productivity and quality. - Resolves complex issues with little or no supervision or direction. - Work with peers and leadership by communicating chargeback anomalies, or fraud trends (based on received chargebacks), and sharing ideas and information. - Daily monitoring of real-time queues to identify high-risk e-commerce transactions. - Interact with internal and external vendors/partners, payment partners, call center and clients regarding any fraud claim(s). - Complete daily tasks with hard deadlines (work on weekends and/or holidays may be required) - Analyze data to point out patterns of fraudulent behaviour. - Make independent decisions with significant impact; provide feedback; prepare status reports and process documents.
