They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced MIS Manager for their corporate office based in Mumbai. As a Finance - MIS Manager, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, conducting variance analysis, and generating valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial analysis and MIS, preferably with experience in the jewelry industry or a related field.
Job Title: Finance - MIS Manager
Location: Mumbai, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Preparation of Day-wise Sales vs. Purchases: Analyze the movement in Price on a daily basis and provide detailed insights.
- Analyze Purchases: Assess purchase data and extract valuable insights to aid in decision-making processes.
- Financials for Budgeting: Collect and compile data for annual budget preparation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Variance Analysis against Budget: Analyze product mix, price, and volume variances against budgeted figures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Profitability Analysis: Prepare and analyze profitability reports, comparing Budget vs. Actual performance on a showroom-wise basis.
- Monthly Inventory Turn and Break-even Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of inventory turnover and break-even points on a showroom/store-wise basis.
- Report Creation: Develop various reports, including Sales, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Inventory, Expense Analysis, and Advertisement Reports, providing meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential.
- Preferred 5 years or more of relevant experience in MIS, or 3 to 4 years of post CA experience in MIS (experience in the jewellery industry is a strong plus).
- Experience in a listed company with a minimum revenue of 1500 crores is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with complex sales data and multiple product categories (preferably in the jewellery industry or a similar field).
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budget preparation, and variance analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and relevant analytical tools.
