Looking for a MIS data support Analyst for a US based Financial Services organisation

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Our Client is the largest provider of retirement plan administration in USA. The analyst is responsible for working with business partners in US to develop reporting, MIS and Data Extraction from multiple sources, Consolidation and Manipulation work. S/he should be fairly knowledgeable about developing data and/or master files for analysis purpose and should posses the skills to develop reports from scratch and put into production. S/he should be able to present the data to senior managers/ VPs in a clear and concise manner and recommend action plan for marketing.

Experience and Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

You should have at least a Bachelor Engineering or Masters in Marketing/ Operations Research/ Finance or in any other quantitative discipline from leading Indian Universities with an excellent academic record. Candidates having between 1-3 years experience in Financial Industry working in areas like Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, Finance and having a flair for quantitative analysis with software packages like SQL, MS Excel and OLAP tools would be considered.

Skills/Knowledge:

- Good Working Knowledge in any OLAP tools, Qlikview, SQL, SAS, BRIO and MS Office (MS Access, Power point etc.).

- Working experience in database. Very strong MS Excel spreadsheet and relational database skills.

- Experience with developing reports from scratch and putting them into production with appropriate quality controls.

- Zero defect execution/attention to detail – create process documents, quality check lists and make necessary amendments proactively as and when process change requested by the business

- Knowledge of financial services industry preferred. Good business judgement and ability to recognize business implications of data.

- Excellent project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities in a multi-task environment. Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

- Must have effective oral and written skills

- Highly detail-oriented and conscientious

- Highly motivated, energetic, creative, and hardworking self-starter

- Proactiveness to self learn new tools and technique and putting it into practice.

- Constantly in search of better tools in the market and capability to implement in the team
