Job Description - Business Head,(Cattle Feed)
Job Summary :
The aspirant will own PnL of the newly created Consumer business and drive strategy and execution in close collaboration with other lines of business. Focus areas will include identifying growth opportunities and establishing significant market share by leveraging best practices and innovative approaches across Operations, sales and marketing functions.
Reports To : COO, MilkLane
Key Responsibilities & Accountability :
- Responsible for planning and execution of business strategies.
- Should have experience in handling greenfield project / Association with 3rd Party.
- Develop a strong go to market and distribution strategy in line with overall vision.
- Provides inputs for life cycle management of the products based on product strategy
- To maintain leadership position in the markets; continuously develop action plans to increase our market share.
- Build and guide a high performing team.
Skill and Knowledge Desired :
- Strategic knowledge about Cattle feed the target markets with strong bias for delivering results.
- Should have an Entrepreneurial mindset
- Sound experience in Sales & Marketing
- Should have the capability to conceive and introduce new products, bring new business opportunities and the commercial acumen to grow the business
- Ability to build and energise his/her team with a clear vision of the business
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Is able to translate long term strategy into effective quarterly and annual plans
- Ability to build effective pricing strategy
- Ability to assess competitor information and drive tactical and strategic response
Minimum Qualifications :
- 14+ years, out of which minimum 5-6 years of experience of managing P&L
- Strong knowledge of Cattle Feed business in India. Knowledge in global markets shall be added advantage.
