JOB PURPOSE:

- Drive actionable insights from consumers and the marketplace across categories which enable the business to deliver against key objectives. Help support innovation projects in various stages of marketing mix development.

DIMENSIONS OF THIS ROLE

- The job entails working extensively and getting alignment with teams across globe, especially the category team based in US and Singapore.

- Being a part of multi country research, cross-functional teams and effectively influencing senior leaders and multi-culturally diverse markets.

- It is a key position with respect to marketing and brand strategy. Given that the role handles insights for multiple high growth categories, this role will tend to have an impact on the brands successfully achieving their business objectives in terms of the sales and market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Create a business solution by analyzing and incorporating data from all researches – Nielsen, Panel, Trends, and Consumer Research.

- Disseminate information and insights within the brand teams by leveraging various research tools. This role entails linking different pieces of researches & data to come up with insights to drive brand strategy. For example:

- Use different data sources like Household Panel, Nielsen, Usage and Attitude to build the Growth drivers for brands.

- Looking at different researches to help the business generate ideas for the innovation funnel

- Ensure clear communication and interpretation of actionable research and consumer insights across a wide range of internal (Senior Leadership, Brand, Category Teams Globally, Sales Team) and external clients (Advertising and Media Buying Agency), for example: Brand team members, R&D, advertising agencies and Global Category Management.

- Stakeholder Management

- Excellent communication and influencing skills as the role will require working across teams, functions and geographies

- Strong analytical skills

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:

- Degree in Mathematics / Statistics or related discipline or MBA – Marketing

- Should have Knowledge of advanced research tools and experience of putting them to business use.
