MGB Advisors - VP/Director - Business Valuation (7-13 yrs)
Job Title: VP / Director - Valuation -SFA
Job Summary: VP/ Director will be responsible for managing the valuation team and P&L responsibility for all types of Financial and securities valuations
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible to manage the P&L and will be involved in end to end execution of engagements
- Conducting financial analysis and valuation of businesses, securities, and other financial / intangible assets
- Working on valuation of businesses and assets for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Creating strong technical expertise to handle all types of valuations and transactions
- Developing detailed and complex financial models for various valuation methodologies
- Handle various valuations eg Business Valuation, Option Valuation, PPA, Intangible Valuation, Impairment Valuation
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities / Geographies to expand services
- Maintaining relationship with client and engaging through various thought leadership / opinion / case studies
- Evaluating potential valuation opportunities and negotiating and concluding the engagement
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
- Keeping team updated on Inudstry Trends, Best Practices and changes in regulatory provisions and valuation standards affecting valuation practices
- Contributing to the development of new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and external parties
Requirements:
- CA /MBA / CFA
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in valuation or related field
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and financial analysis techniques
- Strong technical skill, analytical and problem solving mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and grow the team
- Proven leadership / sr management experience including client relationship management and Business Development
- Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
