Strategy Formulation and Planning

- Provide inputs for preparation of IT strategic roadmap for the user functions (business and support teams), to ensure that their needs are met and planned IT solutions are delivered

- Cascade the Annual Business Solutioning roadmap to quarterly targets and milestones; monitor the performance of the same throughout the year

- Assist in the preparation of the team budget and ensure all related activities are carried out in compliance to the approved budget

Information Technology Management

- Ensure effective coordination with functional heads to review and understand their needs and guide/advise them on trends and state of the art solutions to meet the current and emerging technology requirements

- Monitor smooth liaison between IT and user functions to accurately portray the user function requirements and monitor the timely approval of the feasibility plan and business case (as applicable) for the proposed IT project/solutions/platforms

- Facilitate preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD) to accurately capture functional user requirements; coordinate with Application Owner for the successful creation of the solution (in house/through outsourced vendors)

- Evaluate vendors technical specifications to validate the fulfillment of requirements as per scope along with IT PMO and Application Owner

- Drive timely development of solutions through vendors, in close coordination wit Application Owner and IT PMO to enable effective project execution

- Ensure all business functions are updated on project progress, SLAs, helpdesk status, etc. through weekly / monthly dashboard updates, in coordination with IT PMO

- Lead and drive testing and UAT of developed IT solutions to ensure fulfillment of functional user requirements as per scope and check for satisfactory performance before roll out

- Coordinate with functional users and IT PMO to enable the smooth rollout of the IT solution

- Lead and ensure collection of post-implementation feedback and the provision of effective system support to facilitate effective operations while minimizing down time

- Meet business/functional heads on a periodic basis (e.g. bi monthly) to update on IT activities related to their department, discuss any IT service issues and provide solutions to facilitate effective operations

Process compliance and Process improvement

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of IT Solutions, processes and practices by considering international leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

- Lead (internal) customer surveys to identify areas of improvement and contribute to the enhancement of IT service standards to support effective business operations

Talent and Culture Development

- Engage and mentor the direct reports to prepare them for larger and higher roles within the organization

- Direct the process of effective team performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training, and development of team members
