Metrochem API - Manager - Domestic Business Development (8-12 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
1. Market Research and Analysis :
- Conduct in-depth research on the domestic pharmaceutical market to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customers.
- Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to develop competitive advantage.
2. Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies to understand their API needs and requirements.
3. New Business Development :
- Identify and target potential clients within the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new customers and expand market share.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calls, and attending industry events.
4. Product Knowledge and Presentation :
- Stay updated on the company's API products and their applications.
- Present product offerings to clients in a clear and compelling manner, emphasizing the unique value proposition.
5. Proposal Development :
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet customer needs and align with company capabilities.
6. Sales Forecasting and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management regarding sales performance and market insights.
7. Negotiation and Contract Closure :

9. Customer Support :
