MetLife - Manager - Analytics

1. Work on projects related to Insurance Analytics - Claims Analytics, Provider Management, and other areas.

2. Develop model related to Healthcare Insurance - Fraud Analytics, optimization of charges related to Providers

3. Work on projects related to Data Mining, Insights Generation & Data crunching, Predictive Analytics, Machine learning.

4. Work independently on intermediate to complex level data gathering, validation, manipulation, data mining and analytics (if required).

5. Work independently on advanced level tasks. Lead team to derive project deliveries

6. Interact with business teams to understand core Insurance-related aspects and provide analytics support.

7. Work within multidisciplinary, cross-department teams on large-scale projects.

8. Work towards developing skills for data analytics area through coaching and training

9. Formulate and define project objective and scope based on user needs and thorough understanding of business problems

10. Manage a team of Analysts and Consultants and ensure seamless delivery of Analytics projects.

- Proficient in analytical software's Python/ R/ Alteryx

- Proficient in generating insights from given data to meet business objective.

- Knowledge of data query tool SQL, AQT etc.

- Should have worked on large datasets, statistical predictive model development, segmentation etc.

- Knowledge of advance analytics tools and techniques would be an additional advantage.

- Demonstrated ability and experience of constructing mathematical models from large and complex data sources, including unstructured textual data.

- Strong database skills, including SQL and ability to pull together disparate data sources.

- Should have skills to analyze data and provide inputs on trends, patterns, etc. which will be useful to the business

- Experience of working on advance reports development area related to Insurance, or Banking/Financial Services

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Strong understanding and comprehension of the English language

- Good analytical, problem solving skills

- Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple assignments concurrently with minimal direction in an evolving, fast paced work environment

- Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Self-disciplined and results oriented

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of management, including translating complex ideas and data into actionable steps for business units.
