MergerWare is M&A digital industry leader firm based in Bangalore and Boston is looking for key hires in Software engineering to build a world-class financial software product. We serve top-tier customers globally in Fortune 100 space. Our product is a disruptive innovation in the financial sector required by VCs, private equity funds, and corporate M&A. We are looking for key technical talent who will form the core of the company. This team will build the product from the ground up, contribute to architecture, design, and platform - with lots of room for innovation!

Our engineering talent would ideally be hands-on in the following areas with multiple years of experience in developing and leading enterprise-class teams.

KRA & main area of responsibility:

Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role):

- Build highly scalable M&A Platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced setup, deliver results, set up high standards for the team, and the ability to attract world-class talent.

Primary Roles and responsibilities:

- Build a world-class team of product engineers. Also, ensure their KPIs and OKR are set and evaluated at regular intervals to meets the best minds in product development.

- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality software products, on time, and within budget.

- Partner closely with technical architects, product managers and focus on designing and developing the foundation of our products and platform.

- Partner with cross-functional core stakeholders in engineering, product management, program management, release management, QA, design, performance engineering, sales, and professional services teams to lead the technology vision/direction

- Technical leadership to a team of excellent software engineers; requires that you have the technical depth to make complex design decisions and the hands-on ability to lead by example.

- Work closely with the Product Management, Business Development, Sales, and Operations team and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace

- Guide the overall architecture, design, and development of the engineering function

- Setting up a vision of the technical team and direct them towards MergerWare vision to be the world's best M&A software firm.

- Responsible for managing the staffing requirements and skillsets by working with HR and agency

Key Skills Required:

For this position, We prefer someone who has:

- The ideal candidate needs to have at least 10 +years of programming experience with Javascript frameworks Meteor JS, Node JS, MongoDB, NoSQL, Push Notification, etc. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

- Experience with the data structure

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs

- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

- Excellent knowledge of AWS is mandatory.

- Stellar software development experience (10+ yrs), with a strong track record of leadership in technology strategy and product delivery.

- 5+ years of proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, managing large global engineering teams. Managing multiple engineers.

- Sound technical depth - ability to go deep into technical architecture and design details to help the team make the right decisions around building SaaS products and be able to articulate clear requirements to a global cross-functional team

- 5+ years of track record in developing and deploying enterprise SaaS (/related) software, using agile processes in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in setting up & building high-performance technology teams.

- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. High on the bias for action.Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong decision-making skills, metric-driven operations, and ability to motivate and maximize productivity in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work with multiple levels in the organization with key business holders.
