THE ROLE:

Mercury Capital Advisors is seeking to hire a full-time Associate / Senior Associate in its Gurgaon office to work with the Global Project Management team to assist in originating and executing best-in-class capital raising and advisory mandates.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES AND TASKS:

- Develop excellent relationships with GP clients (private equity firms) through handling of day-to-day communication

- Execute fundraising deal campaigns by providing overall fundraising support, including coordination of target lists, GP updates to distribution team, LP updates to GPs, handling LP queries/due diligence requests, meeting logistics and investor profiles

- Produce client marketing materials (flipbook, DDQ, PPM, data requests) and investor feedback materials

- Build and understand financial models, including extracting information from waterfall models, gross and net returns, portfolio metrics, etc.

- Support Origination team in producing pitch materials and research tasks to identify, source and onboard new mandates

- Support global secondary and directs team in executing advisory mandates

- Guide and mentor junior Analysts

- Work closely with and collaborate with Origination, Distribution and Finance teams across different offices

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

- 3-5+ years of experience in the investment banking, advisory, private equity or other financial services industry, preferably within the area of alternative investments

- Masters/Bachelors Degree from a reputed institute

- Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Self-starter with an intellectual curiosity and exceptional attention to detail

- Strong team player with interpersonal skills as required to interact with personnel across all levels of the firm and fund managers

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary above or on par with the industry standards; and discretionary annual bonus. The employee shall also be entitled to participate in any benefit plans, leaves, programs and policies that may be made available to similarly situated and designated employees and as per the company policy.
