Merchant Marketing Manager - Payments Technology Firm - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (12-15 yrs)

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY :

- The candidate would the sole owner of the IN-Merchant portfolio and lead end-to-end marketing initiatives for merchant acquisition, engagement and develop effective retention strategies.

- Work closely with head of marketing, non-managed, marketplace and channel partnership BU leads to plan and execute marketing programs for priority verticals and merchant segments.

- Enable sales efficiency by creating vertical based value props & sales toolkits for the sales team.

- Engage and work closely with key partners to develop new initiatives and co-marketing strategies for merchant acquisition/engagement.

- Regular monthly reporting of campaign KPIs

- Work closely with key stake holders (internal & external) and be the go-to person for all current and future merchant initiatives in India.

- Pro-actively contribute direction & ideas for campaigns/projects on all aspects of digital marketing, social etc.

- Effectively communicate marketing briefs to internal or external design/development teams.

- Partner with cross-functional leaders and colleagues to inform on India's merchant marketing strategy.

- Establish, and manage marketing vendor and agency relationships

- Develop a strong understanding of client's products, industry trends and leverage new marketing trends & technologies.

WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :

- A professional marketer with min 12-15 year's track record of successful campaigns, managing strategy and execution for an ecommerce company, a digital brand, financial payments or a leading digital agency.

- Excellent channel planning experience with an ability to map customer touch-points with brand and customer benefit, thereby developing a holistic digital strategy.

- Strong experience in using data / insights & analytics to drive marketing decisions and strategy.

- Demonstrated know-how with: Email Marketing, Google Analytics, Ecommerce, PPC, Affiliate Programs, CRM and Social Media.

- Experience of working with merchant partners.

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- A heavy internet user with extreme customer obsession.

- Excellent people skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams.

- Good analytical skills with a strong focus on ROI.

- Independent, motivated self-starter who relishes working in a fast paced environment.

- MBA from a premier institution.

- Growth hacking skills.
