Merchandiser Head- Retail fashion Position: Merchandiser Head Experience: 12+ Years Location: Gurgaon About company: Retail Apparel and Fashion (A luxury eCommerce website with the most overwhelming collection for women, sourced from handpicked fresh designers) Responsibilities: - All orders, deliveries ; timely dispatch of orders & execution. Analyzing all designers delayed orders if any and accordingly acting upon it . Monitoring dispatch time by logistics partner. Tie up with logistics partners for domestic and international with best rates - Overseeing Customer service ; WhatsApp, Instagram ; conversions have happened or not. Checking abandoned carts; analyzing the report sent by customer - Analyzing the data from the platform for seeing the top performing products, number of visitors, bounce rate, top landing pages, searches, ad performances. Curating the ads as per the performances and analyzing the digital marketing data - Accordingly; guiding the merchandisers to bring the missing categories of designers onboard on daily basis or weekly basis - Ensuring logistic costs and returns are minimum - Ensuring delivery time to customer is reduced - Finalizing and closing on contract with designers - Onboarding designers ( using Muskan) - Ensuring timely uploads of the designers Line-sheet and images and managing the schedule as per the seasons. - Ensuring line sheet is prepared and adheres to the technicalities of uploading. Proper resizing, resolution is necessary for maintaining speed. Alt tags , SEO , image tagging while preparing line sheets is maintained - Ensuring the webpage, newsletter goes timely along with the content as per data analysis, season, festivals , sale period - Ensuring all the necessary website features are functioning well - Ensuring all ads go out well in time before the festivals and seasons and missing categories are there - proper Merchandising planning - All new collections are received on time - Meeting all designers personally and building a rapport with them - Daily finance reporting - Responsible for timely workflow of deliverables and timelines; includes overseeing and validating the operations work completed by merchandising team ; i.e. buy sheets, pricing purchase orders, order tracker, markdown maintenance etc. - Manage the online visual merchandising experience to continuously improve KPIs (traffic, conversion rate, average purchase, items per purchase etc.) - Partner with production to ensure photography, styling and copy conveys a compelling product experience on the site, with inspiring visual merchandising and clear and accurate product details. - Vendor Management - Ensure that product and pricing on site is maintained and up to standard at all times - Recap and analyse selling trends and stock levels and recommend necessary markdowns or promotions to achieve target sales, sell through and margin plan. - Maintain strong awareness of competitive landscape for similar e-commerce sites and of the Indian fashion trends to identify potential new lines and subcategories. - Run weekly best sellers meeting with buy team - Manage Wish-list function with buy team - Manage made to order sales. - Manage the data entry team effectively to ensure all online merchandising operations requirements are met - Liaison with Designers for new merchandise.
