Role - This is a techno-commercial role and provides the selected candidate a wonderful opportunity on directly working on implementation of improvement and turnaround plans.

- Candidate should have a broad understanding of power sector and a thorough understanding of power distribution business.

- The person will be directly interacting with business stakeholders, customers, other users and working on collection of data and undertake meaningful analysis and draw inferences which will drive action points around the proposed turnaround plan.

- High level data analytics is crucial for this role.

- One of the primary responsibilities of the role would be to develop analytical framework and monitoring system for implementation of turnaround plans.

Preferred background/experience/Skills - 5 -7 years of experience (at least 4- 5 years in Project Management of Power Sector)

- Adept in dealing with both business and technology requirements

- 3 years of cumulative experience in similar projects preferably in power /utilities sector

- Should have worked on a project serving utilities like the R APDRP projects.

- Keen communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to write quality reports.

- Strong analytical skills using advance IT tools

Key Expectations This is a front ending role and involves direct engagement with clients - government, PSU and private. Candidates should have 5 - 7 years- experience in Energy & Resources (E&R) industry.

Key expectations include the following:

- Through understanding of Power Sector:

- Interested candidate should have complete understanding of the regulatory framework and business drivers of power sector.

- In-depth understanding of power distribution business is a crucial for this role.

- Understanding of R-APDRP is important. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked on R-APDRP projects.

- Report writing skills: Role demands excellent command over English language (both written and verbal), as the person is expected to provide guidance to a pool of consultants in report writing and should also be able to review their work.

- Financial Modeling skills - Candidates should well verse with advanced MS Excel; and should be capable of developing financial models and carry out analysis depending on the requirements of various engagements.

- Presentation skills: Interested candidate should be capable of designing and delivering presentation to clients or other user groups.

Soft Skills - Ability to maintain customer relationship right from initial requirement gathering through negotiations and long contract periods

- Excellent communication skills - presentation, verbal and written

- Excellent interpersonal skills

Technical Skills - Advance MS Excel based Modelling

- Statistical Software (SPSS, STATA etc.)

- Project Management Tools (MS Projects)

- A self-starter with ability to function independently
