Job title : Manager- Commercial & Regulatory (Power Domain) Reports to Director - Regulatory Job purpose : Assist the Lead of the commercial and regulatory team of MEMI for assignments with distribution utilities/ transmission utilities/Generation companies across India. Required Experience/ Skill Set : - Detailed knowledge of the Indian Power & Regulatory sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers - At least 5-8 years of experience with minimum 3 years in a reputed consulting firm - Analytical and project management skills including the ability to implement projects (including more than one project at a time), coaching pool of analyst/ senior analyst and interacting with clients - An ability to multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively - MS Excel and MS Access based Financial Modeling - Experience of handling tariff related assignments, business plans, commercial agreements (PPA) - Experience of working with distribution utilities/ transmission utilities/ generation companies in at-least two states. - Exposure/ Experience of working in Govt. of India flagship energy schemes such as - UDAY, IPDS, DDUGJY, R-APDRP etc. Working conditions / Location - Locations available are New Delhi/ Lucknow Direct reporting - Manager- Commercial & Regulatory reports directly to Director and to the Mercados Partners and Advisory Board at regular intervals.
