Job title Manager- Policy and Regulatory (Renewable) Reports to Director - Regulatory Job purpose Assist the Director of the Policy and Regulatory team of MEMI for assignments within India and abroad. Experience and Qualification - At least 5 years of relevant experience with a minimum 2-3 years in the renewable energy sector - B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical - MBA in Finance/Operations/ Marketing/ Power Management Required Skills - Detailed knowledge of the Indian Power &amp; Regulatory sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers - Analytical and project management skills including the ability to implement projects (including more than one project at a time), coaching pool of analyst/ senior analyst and interacting with clients - MS Excel based Financial Modeling - Experience of handling tariff related assignments, business plans, commercial agreements (PPA) pertaining to Solar sector. - Experience of working with regulators/distribution utilities/transmission utilities/generation companies. Working conditions / Location : The base location would be Delhi (NCR). However, the applicant should be open to travel within and outside country to manage Projects. He/ She should also be willing to relocate (if required) to other locations within the country based on project requirements. Reporting : Manager - Policy and Regulatory (Renewable) reports to Director - Policy and Regulatory and to Mercados Partners at regular intervals.
