Job title : Manager - Policy and Regulatory

Reports to : L1 - Sr. Manager, Policy and Regulatory; L2 - Director, Policy and Regulatory

Job Purpose :

- Position shall be responsible for delivering Consulting assignments in Regulatory /Policy /Tariff /Commercial related matters pertaining to Generation/Transmission/Distribution Utilities

- Managing a team of Analysts and Sr. Analysts

Experience and Qualification :

- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputed consulting firm

- B. Tech in Electrical/ Mechanical from NITs/IIITs and top Govt. Funded Technical Institutes Only (Mandatory) + MBA in Finance/Power Management (Preferred), CA/CWA

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Regular engagement with clients for delivering consulting assignments successfully

- Initiate, develop and support new and existing business opportunities

- Efficient and inspiring management of the team

Required Skills :

- Detailed knowledge of the Indian Power Sector, including its commercial, technological and regulatory drivers

- Analytical and project management skills including the ability to implement projects (including more than one project at a time) and interacting with clients

- An ability to multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support effectively

- Strong expertise in MS Excel based Financial Modeling

- Strong written and oral communications skills

- Strong presentation skills

- Experience of handling tariff filing related assignments, commercial agreements (PPA), bidding, litigations, etc. of generation, transmission and distribution companies

- Experience of having worked on renewable/conventional energy consultancy assignments

Working conditions / Location : The base location would be Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
