Meraaki Learning is an early age VC backed startup in India's EdTech sector. We are looking for people to join us and scale the technical development. We are looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about using code to redefine learning @home with Meraaki. You will have an opportunity to get in early in a promising young startup in the fast growing Ed-tech sector. You will be building platforms and services to be used across various products. You will have the opportunity to create a significant impact on the day to day workings of the company and lead highly motivated individuals working towards the same goal.

You will operate at the intersection of diverse disciplines - Backend, Frontend, Big Data, ML, Computer vision and Multiple programming languages. You will build from the ground up solutions for Meraaki's flagship platform to create an interactive learning experience for our users. We are looking for people with excellent coding skills and a can-do attitude. Candidates should be flexible to pivot when needed, savvy enough to thrive in a dynamic environment and should possess a mindset where they align personal growth with the company's growth.

Requirements & Responsibilities

- Leads a project end-to-end and collaborates across functions. Drives planning and manages the development team.

- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and ability to deliver results

- Will be responsible to meet launch and delivery deadlines.

- 5+ years of experience in product driven organization and web platform development. 3+ years of experience with leading teams and delivering products to an engaged user base.

- Becomes a go-to person in more than one area. Provide technical mentoring to the team. Exhibits excellent teamwork and helps achieve team goals.

- Communicates clearly, gets clarifications and establishes expectations for all parties

- Write high quality code & unit tests, builds, tests as per agreed timelines.

- Follows and promotes SDLC best practices: Coding standard, testing, code reviews, code comments, documentation etc.

- Keeps key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoids surprises.

- Contributes in tech recruitment efforts

- Technologies we're working with currently (can change) Vue.js, Node.js, AWS, Flutter.
