In addition, you will also contribute to the development of our post-acquisition and operational strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of organisation-wide legal and compliance standards. Duties/Responsibilities: - Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including general commercial contracts, service provider agreements, vendor contracts, procurement contracts, technology (SaaS and Paas) contracts, leasing agreements, warehousing & logistics agreements, endorsement & marketing related contracts, supplier/distributor agreements, etc. This involves providing legal analysis of associated risks and advice on risk mitigation to internal stakeholders. - Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including related to corporate matters, statutory and regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer laws, procurement, safety, security, logistics and warehousing and intellectual property issues - Advice on corporate M&A transactions including acquisitions (whether by share purchase or business transfers), cross border mergers or amalgamations as well as joint ventures involving third parties with FDI. - Preparation of transaction documents, legal due diligence, supporting legal negotiations, signing and closing as well as managing post-closing matters related to a transaction. - Such other support as may be required by the Legal & Compliance team, from time to time. Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent communication skills. Ability to condense and convey complicated issues clearly and succinctly. - Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse pool of internal stakeholders in particular the Investments, Finance, Growth and Treasury teams. - Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to manage complex assignments and timelines, exercising sound judgment and decision-making in prioritization of multiple deadlines. - Experienced with debt and equity fundraising and buyer-side M&A Education and Experience: - LLB degree from reputed institution. 4 to 7 years of experience as Contract Counsel in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team.
