Create an inclusive culture where the best ideas win and you have the obligation to engage and dissent Frugality - We are frugal with capital and use innovation to grow our brands in a sustainable manner Duties/Responsibilities: - Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends - Devise long-term development strategies for product categories - Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products - Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services - Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands - Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility - Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category - Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories - Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory - Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category Required Skills/Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong supervisory and leadership skills. - Thorough knowledge of ecommerce channel partners. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: - Minimum 5-10 years experience (total) with minimum 5 years experience in any e-commerce vertical (preferably beauty) as a category manager - MBA - Alternately from the brand side i.e., brand/category managers but strictly from digitally native beauty brand companies.
