Meena Bazaar has plans of expanding and is looking out for talented professionals to help and be part of the amazing growth journey. - The individual will be responsible for Planning & Developing a strategy to enable the company to achieve its Sales Targets. He/she will be instrumental in all commercial decisions such as how much money should be spent, how many different lines should be bought and in what quantities and at what price. - Set and Agree on yearly Sales Targets for the Organization & break it up Quarterly - Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product and plan the Merchandising accordingly categorise - Communicating the merchandising plan to the buyer, who can then decide what products, styles, colours etc. to purchase from which suppliers at what cost - Devising a contract for the suppliers, including quality control, accuracy and flexibility, which is done throughout the season. - New Vendor Selection and Management - Planning the quantities to be purchased depending on the requirement and allocation to various stores minimizing stock holding and maximizing profits - Manage the Pricing of the products, track and monitor deviations in consultation with the Buyer. - Create a Pricing policy and build periodic reviews on the same - Once the products are distributed and put on sale, the Merchandiser can monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter branch transfers, promotions or clear outs. - Manage the overall Operations including Logistics, supply chain, Purchase Orders, pricing etc through various reportees. - Define and own all process formulation & documentation for the Department. - Conduct Periodic Reviews to ensure targets met and plan any shortfalls proactively Skills: - Masters Degree from a Tier 1/2 university - Excellence in Analytical Skills along with Communication skills - Excellence in Technical skills - MIS, Excel etc. - Resilience under pressure - Commercial Awareness to understand the Marketplace in terms of trends and customer requirements. - Excellent demonstrated skills of Operations Management in the past experience
