Medvarsity - AGM/GM - Talent Acquisition (12-25 yrs)

The AGM/GM - Talent Acquisition role will be responsible for leading the identification and recruitment of exceptional talent across Medvarsity. As a market leader Medvarsity has built exceptional credibility in the online medical education ecosystem and a significant part of that impact has been driven through the exceptional talent at work. We are now scaling up to prepare for the next phase of growth and will be expanding across all core departments.

Our vision of 2022 and beyond is going to be achieved by bringing in additional exceptional talent from across healthcare, education, sales, technology and marketing. You and your team will be the critical first step of this growth trajectory.

You will lead the talent acquisition practice and will lead through hands-on engagement in identifying, evaluating and onboarding exceptional talent at Medvarsity. You will have demonstrated experience in filling unique roles through differentiated recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Expertise in design and implementation of overall recruitment strategy

- Ability to partner with leadership in understanding business goals and identify talent that aligns with the specific goal.

- Lead, motivate, mentor the recruitment team goals and align to industry benchmarks.

- Align recruitment team's structure and engagement to business goals and ensure availability of a predictive pipeline of talent.

- Ensure cost/budget alignment for key roles and identify innovative strategies to hire emerging leaders.

- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, unstructured environment.

Experience:

- Minimum of 12+ years of recruitment experience in the healthcare and technology industry.

- At least 5 years' of people management experience and leading recruitment for mid-large organizations.

- Established track record of building and coaching high performance recruiting teams.

- Proven data based approach to talent shortlisting and acquisition process.

- Experience in using social engineering to identify talent for niche roles (non-reliance on jobsites as primary source) is mandatory.

Desirable

- Previous experience in working with recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, workflow tools (Zoho recruit, etc).

- Strong analytical skills and experience with advanced excel.

- Ability to develop and implement planning process and procedures to meet future recruitment goals (just in time recruitment)
