This person should have strong command in direct taxation & also should have exposure in GST.  Reports To: Senior Manager - Finance   Division: Finance  A Day in the Life  Manage Transfer Pricing Assessments :  - Work with Tax consultant on the Assessment details requirement  - Take out details from System, provide supporting  - Coordinate with APAC/Global team for TP related matters  Manage Direct Tax Assessments :  - Filing of Annual Return  - Work with Tax consultant on the Assessment details requirement  - Take out details from System, provide supporting  - Coordinate with Other functions/Group team for Assessment related matters  TDS related work :  - Monthly TDS Deposit  - Quarterly Return filing  - Balance sheet Reconciliations for all tax-related Matters :  - Pass Adjustment entries in books related to Tax matters   - Monthly Reconciliations to be prepared   Comply with GST Requirements :  - Work with Tax consultant on the calculation of GST Liability  - Work with Accounting team to Maximize the GST Benefits  - Filing of all GST Returns in coordination with Tax Consultant   - Take out details from System, provide supporting  - Work on pending VAT Assessments  Must Have: Minimum Requirements :  - Chartered Accountant with 5 to 6 years of Experience in accounting with MNC   - Sound Knowledge of taxation - Direct and Indirect  - Well-developed verbal and written communication skills  - Supportive and consultative team building style with an analytical approach to problem-solving  - Well-developed interpersonal and lateral thinking skills  - Ability to demonstrate initiative with limited supervision  - Proven experience working under pressure to meet strict deadlines  - Comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting systems and practical application  - Ability to develop/implement a change process, in consideration of impact to other processes and functions  Nice to Have :  - Well organized - able to handle a number of tasks at once  - Ability to simplify and explain complex finance-related concepts to non-finance stakeholders  - Able to maintain confidentiality  - Quick learn from process, tool and project perspective  - Able to interact with other departments and functions independently  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :  The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
