Associate Finance Controller/ Finance Controller

The candidate will be responsible for consolidating books of accounts for Holding company. Provide guidance and support to local team members in performing their duties, hands on experience on consolidation. Timely review tasks performed by Local team and sharing feedback.

Education CA (1st Attempt) with 9 to 12 years of experience

CPA qualification good to have

Skills must Have:

- Big 4 Experience Must

- Month end close experience

- Consolidation experience

- Team management experience

- Good experience in Performance review for team

- Stakeholder Management

- US GAAP

Key responsibilities :

- Global consolidation process

- Support during month close and year-end. Interact with auditors and US counterparts to ensure timely deliverables

- Review/create critical consolidation journal entries and eliminations. Troubleshoot and resolve variances

- Review intercompany variances and oversee reconciling item resolution

- Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Review of consolidated reports and supplemental schedules

- Facilitate completion of closing packages with international controllers and tax for US GAAP requirements

- Work closely with International controllers to ensure smooth consolidation process

- Oversee inventory related tasks

- Provide support for Technical GAAP accounting

- Interact with stake holders through transparent and smooth communication and internal teams

- Administrator for master data maintenance and other company tools

- Support on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Work experience-Must

- Hands on experience in Consolidation Process

- Month end close process

- Intercompany process/reconciliation

- Comprehensive knowledge of multi-national bookkeeping

IS experience

- Mandatory: Tagetik or SAP-BPC or Oracle Hyperion or IBM Cognos

- Excellent excel skills

- Nice to have: QAD, SAP, Trintech

Soft skills:

- Good team management experience

- Ability to communicate strongly and influence without authority

- Strong math, analytical skills

- Having Continuous improvement mindset

- Flexibility and good team player
