Job Description - Business Analyst
The Purpose of this role is to play a central role in the Procurement / Supply team to analyse regular data, crunching numbers to evaluate the effectiveness of new processes and building dashboards that can give actionable insights to the team for better operations.
Role Responsibilities :
Gathering data from various sources, data transformation and data warehousing
- Generating automated reports, building and maintaining dashboards in Excel &
- Exploratory data analysis and data visualization
- Understanding the needs of different stakeholders and designing appropriate solutions
- Helping with various experimentations during the exploration and development phase.
- Creating meaningful metrics to measure various processes
- Communicating results and proposals in clear manner to all involved parties.
Broad KRA's :
- Accuracy and clarity of presenting data for actionable insights
- Dashboards and reports configured covering all metrics to be tracked
Education & Experience :
- Degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or related fields
- Proficiency with Advanced Excel & Basic / Intermediate SQL
Other Requirements :
- Skilled in data wrangling (split-apply-combine), analysis and visualization
- Exploratory data analysis
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with the team
- Critical thinking and attention to details
- Eagerness and curiosity to learn and apply new techniques
- Any experience in programming languages like Python or R etc., will be an added advantage
