Medinfi - Sr Manager - Business Development (3-6 yrs)

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Business Development for our venture which intends to change the way healthcare decisions are taken by both enterprise and retail users through our innovative products and services.

You will lead our efforts in building fruitful relationships with various stakeholders, be it corporates, insurance companies, and advertisers. Your responsibilities will be to define and execute the strategy for growing the revenue. As the owner of this business, you will work with product & content teams to set strategy and determine which products to pursue in order to maximize value for our enterprise & retail customers. You will engage directly with key stakeholders at CXO level to showcase the value of our products and build marketing plans in order to drive customer adoption and revenue.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about changing Indian healthcare landscape through adoption of technology and analytics. You should have proven success in driving and growing revenue for technology and/or analytics organizations, and should have established long term relationships with enterprises of all sizes. You should have a combination of sales, business development and account management experience as well as an understanding of Indian healthcare ecosystem. You should be very delivery-focused, with a track record of exceeding sales goals, customer-centric, and self-motivated. This position has a high level of visibility, and you will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and convincingly internally and externally. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll-up the sleeves and join a high performance team that is changing the way healthcare related decisions are being taken in India and abroad.

Key Responsibilities include

- Own and drive revenue generation goals through enterprise business

- Own the P&L for this business and maintain healthy profitability while managing the costs effectively

- Identify & define the target segments for the business

- Generate relevant database of industry connects as per the identified target segment

- Undertake regular business interactions with potential customers and establish fruitful and long term relationships with various corporates

- Undertake regular follow-ups through phone calls and meetings for closing potential leads

- Set-up regular reporting mechanisms with all the teams to track & monitor progress

- Be the internal Voice of Customer and share regular customer feedback for shaping the product & content strategy

- Maintain a healthy pipeline of business leads for revenue generation

- Building, mentoring & managing the business development team, as and when required

- Innovate & modify company's revenue model basis industry interactions and discussion with the larger team, as per requirement

- Leverage past relationships and network for exceeding business goals

- Following ethical business practices and maintain high levels of personal ethical standards

Basic Qualifications

- Business graduate from top Tier institution

- 3-6 years of relevant business development experience

- Strong working relationships with business/HR heads of various companies across India

- Experience of driving in technology and/or analytics based products and services

- Significant business development and account management experience

- Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics

- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence top level executives

- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA from top tier institution

- Experience of working in healthcare and/or insurance sector

- Hands on experience in selling technology products and services

- 1-2 years of people management experience
