Job Description - The Medical Lead India is accountable for leading the medical teams and for providing a comprehensive and proactive medical service for supporting R&D, medical information, pharmacovigilance, market access and all relevant business functions as appropriate

Description:

- Ensuring country medical activities are aligned with overall strategies

- Ensuring implementation of Talent Acquisition strategies and initiatives in line with the larger medical strategy

- Planning and execution of skill development/medical educational activities for the teams

- Supporting the clinical trials

- Creating a strong pool talent and building a high-performing team

- Leading medical team working on the field with ensuring strong external focus and priority on quality customer interactions

- Coaching and counselling the team and shaping the culture of the organisation

- Working closely together with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment across the organisation

- Active and continuous communication across the organisation of the specifically set goals and metrics

- Leading by example and setting a culture of innovation, high-performance and constructive challenges

- Ensuring continuous training of team and strong medical and scientific knowledge base

Profile :

- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant industry experience in clinical or medical affairs

- Experience in Nutraceuticals and consumer Health preferred

- Proven leadership and people management experience

- Demonstrated ability to grow, engage and retain top talent

- Potential to lead strategy development and execution

- Team player and experience in performing effectively in a cross- functional environment

- Exemplify usage of effective communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence novel ways of thinking and working

- Project management skills

- Medical Doctor/ PHD in Lifesciences
