- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

- Knowledge of Medical and Surgical procedures, medical terminologies, treatments and epidemiology

- 5+ years of experience

Job Description

- Medical Expert will support General Manager (Hospital Network and Quality Assurance) in carrying out activities involving but not limited to the domain of Health Benefit Packages and related subjects

- Will assist in coordination with other teams for successful implementation and operations of the scheme

- Will serve as the primary contact for state coordinators, IT support, Insights and other teams for all medical queries

- Will assist in the planning, coordination and facilitation of activities related to Health Benefit Packages

- Will assist in improvement and evolution of Health Benefit Packages by engaging stakeholders from multiple government and non - government entities

- Will arrange trainings, workshops, webinars etc. identify/ train master trainers for key topics that support Health Benefit Packages

- Will engage in mapping of packages/ procedures received from other government schemes to identify overlap or facilitate in amalgamation of Health Benefit Package(s) of said scheme(s)/ program(s)

- Will work intensively with the medical teams to resolve any issues that arise in the implementation of the scheme due to Health Benefit Package

- Will participate in the medical audits of empaneled hospitals

- Will be responsible for compiling and analyzing the reported data to highlight trends in utilization of packages under the scheme

- Will work on grievance redressal system from medical perspective if any complaints that are registered or noticed

- Will facilitate inclusion/ exclusion of packages under the Health Benefit Package as per the policy guidelines of the scheme

- Will serve as the primary contact for state coordinators, IT support, Insights and other teams for all queries related to Standard Treatment Guidelines

- Will assist in the planning, coordination and facilitation of activities related to Standard Treatment Guidelines

- Will assist in improvement and evolution of Standard Treatment Guidelines by engaging stakeholders from multiple government and non - government entities

- Will arrange trainings, workshops, webinars etc. identify/ train master trainers for key topics that support Standard Treatment Guidelines

- Will engage in drafting and IT adaptation of Standard Treatment Guidelines received from medical experts

- Will work intensively with the medical and IT teams to resolve any issues that arise in the implementation of the scheme due to Standard Treatment Guidelines

- Will participate in the handholding of empaneled hospitals during pilots and rollout of Standard Treatment Guidelines

- Will coordinate collection, analysis and write up of evaluation of the project deliverable

- Will assist in day to day hospital network and quality department activities

- Will maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field of health / health insurance
