Medical Director - Hospital Administration

We have career opportunity as Medical Director.

Summary :

- The ideal candidate for this position has a strong clinical background as well as experience in a hospital administration role. International experience in medicine or medical administration is a key requisite for the position.

- The position shall report to the Chief Executive Officer and the applicant in collaboration with the senior leadership team of the hospital to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve our medical capabilities and outcomes by ensuring requisite clinical pathways in various clinical specialities. The applicant will also will also work with the Chief Executive Officer to lead the overall management and administration of the hospital.

Job Accountabilities :

- To bring all medical service offerings under one roof of Medical Center (MC) as envisioned and lead the planning for the development of new Medical centre clinical offerings which would include Outpatients areas, Centre of Clinical Genomics, home healthcare, diseases specific clinics, etc

- To lead all medical operations across Medical Centre and ensure the highest level of quality and patient safety standards

- To ensure best in class clinical outcomes leading to overall patient satisfaction

- To ensure organizational compliance with existing regulations, laws, procedures and policies

- To seamlessly integrate all clinical interfaces between the Medical Center and Inpatient Care

- To develop a strong pipeline of leadership within Medical Centre in order to support and maintain excellence in MC standards

- To support consultants of the highest caliber to ensure that each Medical Centre offering thrives and grows

- To engage and establish relationships with best in class clinical institutions and a global panel of consultants to harness their knowledge and expertise

- To work alongside the CEO in the overall strategic planning including Medical as well as the Inpatient Care units

Skills Required (Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude) :

- Proactive and intrinsically motivated to take initiative and perform

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with proven capability and ability to be a key contributor to the team

- High degree of integrity

- Ability to develop relationships with relevant stakeholders

- Willingness to travel at least one week each month or as desired

Experience and Qualifications :

- Master in Business Administration (MBA)/ Master in Health Administration

- MBBS from accredited medical school

- 10+ years experience in clinical medicine in a tertiary care hospital

- 5+ years experience in a hospital administration role

- Experience of working in international settings

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in leading hospital administration

- Prior experience in establishment of Medical Centre / consolidation of clinical service offerings
