Profile Sketch: (Looking at Tier 1 Bschool MBAs with 6-8 in a techno commercial role with well-known mid/large sized, fast growing companies, preferably tech companies & minimum 10 years of experience over all with global technology/digital practices of IT/Tech/Internet/Ecommerce companies only)

Designation: Director - Publisher Development

Qualifications & Background Must Haves: Post Graduate/MBA froma Tier 1 B-School a must, B.E/Btech grads highly preferred due to the Techno-commercial scope of the role. Experience of handling mid to large sized teams is a must.

Good to Have: Understanding of digital/internet related technology is a big plus. Experience of having managed P & Ls is good to have.

Responsibilities:

- Manage/Mentor a team of business development /account management/Account Specialist type resources through day to day Account management activity

- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with strategic partners internationally.

- Own P&L responsibility & day to day management of the assigned projects

- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations

- Drive regular QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with existing client base

- Responsible for resource planning, recruitment, training /mentoring & performance review of the team

- Liaising closely with the technology team to execute any product enhancements, new feature implementation, product maintenance, etc.

- Work closely with key stake holders to create business plan/sales pitch for new products/new business acquisition.

- Continuously audit performance of various aspects within her/his team to ensure a high level of service to customers

- Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with internal & external stakeholders

- Be involved in in-house project management activities focused around people/process/technology

- Responsible for relationship management of these large clients & ensuring timely resolution of all their requests.

Who should apply for this role?:

- Substantial experience in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and consultative selling.

- Must have managed a team of people in her/his earlier role.

- Must be comfortable with revenue responsibilities including forecasting, estimation, identifying problem areas & brainstorming on proactive solutions.

- Strong ability to mentor account managers to drive their performance.

- Ability to deliver results under pressure.

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills

- Experience coordinating projects with external and internal stakeholders necessary

- Having worked with US based clients is a bonus.

- Strong Analytical skills & business analysis/data orientation

- High level of drive, initiative and self-motivation.

Knowledge, Skills (Technical & Soft skills) & Educational background required:

- MBA/PG from a reputed/Tier I B-School with at-least 6 - 8 years of post qualification experience leading account management teams/function enabling the business development function of mid/large sized tech companies by providing a high impact experience for (not mandatory but preferably international) clientele.

- Strong knowledge of the global business environment, business strategy & intricacies of management reporting.

- Strong analytical & data driven approach, quantitative & reporting skills.

- Strong organizational and collaborative skills, with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships in order to effectively & productively contribute to a highly collaborative and trust based work environment (one of the hallmarks of the awesome media.net culture).

- Maturity & management acumen to groom & mentor high performance teams.

- Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and organizational boundaries.

- Open mindset/hustle/flexibility towards change and adynamically evolving business environment.

- Stress tolerant and well organized with the ability to prioritize heavy workloads

- Excellent task prioritization & time management skills
