Position Associate Director- Publisher Development

Location Mumbai

Qualifications Postgraduate/MBA from a reputed B-School + B.E/B Tech

Experience of at least 5-7 years of high impact post MBA experience in a techno commercial role with well-known mid/large sized, fast growing companies, preferably tech companies & minimum 10 years of experience overall.

What is the role like?

We are looking for a highly motivated person to work closely with major online publishers in the US marketplace to maximize each partner's business opportunity with Media.net. Our partners generate significant part of their advertising revenues from Media.net. Your main goal is to analyze our publishers business and their ad stack to suggest Media.net solutions that will help them grow advertising revenue even further. Moreover, you will be the key person to feedback market requirements to our product teams developing future Media.net solutions for the publishers.

What is the Job Like?

- Manage/Mentor a team of business development /account management/Account Specialist type resources through day to day Account management activity

- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with strategic partners

- Own P&L responsibility & day to day management of the assigned projects

- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations

- Gain an understanding of digital technology and revenue ecosystem and be able to explain product benefits within this context

- Build presentations, proposals and negotiate contracts

- Drive regular QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with existing client base

- Responsible for resource planning, recruitment, training /mentoring & performance review of the team

- Work closely with key stake holders to create business plan/sales pitch for new products/new business acquisition.

- Continuously audit performance of various aspects within her/his team to ensure a high level of service to customers

- Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with internal & external stakeholders

- Be involved in in-house project management activities focused around people/process/technology

- Responsible for relationship management of these large clients & ensuring timely resolution of all their requests

Who should apply for this role?

- Substantial experience in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and consultative selling.

- Must have managed a team of people in her/his earlier role

- Ability to build business case and persuade external and internal partners accordingly

- Must be comfortable with revenue responsibilities.

- Strong ability to mentor account managers to drive their performance.

- Ability to deliver results under pressure

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills

- Experience coordinating projects with external and internal stakeholders necessary

- Having worked with US based clients is a bonus

- Strong Analytical skills

- High level of drive, initiative and self-motivation
