Media Head - Media Planning + Buying (Digital and Traditional) for an FMCG MNC


We are seeking an experienced Media Head to join our client (Leading FMCG Company) and lead their media team. As the Media Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of media planning, buying, and strategy across digital and mainstream media channels.

- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in media management, with a strong background in both digital and traditional media platforms. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective media strategies to maximize brand visibility, audience reach, and marketing ROI.

Responsibilities:


- Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across digital and mainstream media channels.

- Lead a team of media professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify target audience demographics, media consumption habits, and emerging media platforms.

- Oversee media planning and buying activities, ensuring optimal utilization of budgets and resources to achieve marketing objectives.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, advertising, and creative teams, to align media strategies with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.

- Evaluate and negotiate media partnerships, contracts, and rates to maximize cost efficiency and reach target audience segments effectively.

- Monitor and analyze media campaign performance metrics, such as impressions, reach, click-through rates, and conversions, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

- Stay up-to-date with digital media trends, innovations, and best practices, and proactively explore opportunities for incorporating new and emerging media channels into the overall media mix.

- Develop and maintain relationships with media vendors, agencies, and industry professionals to stay abreast of the latest media opportunities and negotiate advantageous partnerships.

- Manage media budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular reports on media campaign performance and ROI to senior management.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in media management, with a strong background in both digital and traditional media platforms.

- Demonstrated expertise in media planning, buying, and strategy across various media channels, including digital, print, broadcast, out-of-home, and social media.

- In-depth knowledge of digital media platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, programmatic advertising, and ad serving technologies.

- Proven experience in developing and executing successful media campaigns that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and business results.

- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze campaign performance metrics and make data-backed decisions for optimization.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of media professionals.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with media vendors and agencies.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple media campaigns simultaneously.
